Farm and food businesses are the foundation of resilient, diverse, and balanced food systems. The Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center (RFBC) served as a regional hub to support the development, growth, and sustainability of small and mid-sized food and farm businesses across the Northwest and Rocky Mountain states.
The Center was part of the USDA Regional Food Business Center initiative, launched in 2022 with a $400 million national investment to strengthen local and regional food systems. Twelve Centers were established across the country to provide coordinated technical assistance, capacity building, and market development support.
