Colorado Innovation Institute
The Colorado Innovation Institute is an initiative created to advance Colorado’s long-term innovation vision and help position the state as the most attractive innovation ecosystem in the world. It is designed as a neutral, statewide platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, universities, federal laboratories, businesses, civic institutions, public leaders, and communities around a shared ambition for Colorado’s future. The Institute does not replace the work of existing organizations; it strengthens the connective infrastructure between them. The Institute serves as a long-term steward, strategic coordinator, and intelligence platform for Colorado’s innovation ecosystem. It will conduct research, develop shared frameworks, convene cross-sector leaders, identify emerging opportunities and challenges, activate collaborative initiatives, and track progress toward the state’s most important innovation goals. Its role is to help steward a compelling vision that coordinates action, creates measurable outcomes, and sustains momentum across institutions, sectors, regions, and political cycles.
