Terms of Use
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of coloradostartupresources.com (the “Site”), operated by Humans In Common, a Colorado corporation (“we”, “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
About the directory
Colorado Startup Resources is an independent directory of organizations, programs, funding sources, events, and other resources for Colorado’s founders, entrepreneurs, and community builders.
- Information only. Listings are provided for general information. They are not legal, financial, investment, tax, or professional advice.
- No endorsement. Including an organization doesn’t mean we endorse, recommend, or have vetted it. Do your own research before applying to, investing in, hiring, or working with anyone listed.
- Accuracy. We work to keep listings accurate and current, but details such as deadlines, eligibility, contact information, and job openings change, and some may be out of date. Always confirm with the organization directly.
Links to other websites
Listings, job links, and screenshots point to websites we don’t control. We’re not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or job postings. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms.
Accounts
You can create an account to save resources. You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email and other sign-in methods secure. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful;
- send spam, malware, or abusive or harassing messages through our contact form;
- scrape, copy, or republish the directory in bulk, or use automated tools that place an unreasonable load on the Site, without our written permission;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other accounts, or our systems, or interfere with the Site’s operation;
- impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
Information you send us
When you suggest a resource, request a listing change, or otherwise send us content, you confirm that you have the right to share it, and you give us permission to use, edit, and publish it in connection with the Site. We decide what to include, and may edit or decline any suggestion.
Listed organizations
If you represent a listed organization, you can ask us to correct or remove its listing through our contact form. We may ask you to verify your connection to the organization.
Sponsorship
Sponsorships are arranged through separate agreements. Sponsored placements will be clearly identified as sponsored, and sponsorship doesn’t change how we describe or evaluate other listings. Sponsorship doesn’t mean we endorse the sponsor, or the sponsor us, beyond what the agreement states.
