Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE)
The Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating climate action in Pitkin, Eagle, and Garfield Counties. Since 1994, CORE has collaborated with homeowners, businesses, government agencies, utilities, and community members to advance innovative climate solutions that enhance community well-being and contribute to a healthier, more sustainable future for all. By providing essential funding, expert technical support, and connections to qualified contractors, CORE empowers local residents to adopt solutions that address the primary sources of greenhouse gas emissions in our region. CORE is funded through service fees, grants, and private philanthropy.
