Originally founded in 2001 as the first student-run venture fund in the nation, and endowed by pioneering impact investor Jim Sorenson in 2013, the Sorenson Impact Institute has grown to become a leading multi-disciplinary impact institute housed at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business. Our mission is to expand the market for impact and to equip the next generation of impact leaders, forging a future where impact is seamlessly integrated across sectors worldwide. We are impact investors, strategists, data scientists and storytellers united to help our partners solve social problems.
